Welcome to my website! I am a proud Fijian, and my journey started as a Primary School Teacher in my country before I made a significant life change by joining the Royal Marines in the UK. I dedicated nine challenging years to serving one of the elite branches of the Armed Forces, which taught me resilience, discipline, and teamwork. After being medically discharged in 2017, I decided to explore a new path in the Tech industry. Determined to succeed, I taught myself various skills through online platforms like YouTube and Udemy. In 2018, I completed the AWS reStart program, which opened the door for me to  join Hive, Connected Home branch of British Gas. There, I was fortunate to learn about and gain experience with essential tools such as Python, Bash, Linux, CloudFormation, and Terraform from the team. This experience deepened my understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes and ignited my passion for technologies. In 2021, I joined AWS through the TechU program, and I have since transitioned through roles in the Scaling Solutions Architect team and now in the Education Solutions Architect team. I worked closely with universities in the UK, helping them build their workloads in the cloud and serving as a technical guide. I am excited to share my journey and experiences with you!
